Projects for Parent/Teacher Conferences
In preparation for Parent/Teacher Conferences, first and second graders have been working on projects that will be on display for parents to view. First graders have been learning how to interpret information from images and graphics. They were given a picture and added a sentence under it giving a short description of the picture. Second graders have been working on biographies and formulating questions. The class brainstormed interview questions. Three questions were chosen and the students interviewed each other. They also took pictures of each other. All this information was combined into a power point presentation that you can view when you come in for conferences.
McDonald's Receipt Information
Please help us by saving McDonald's receipts. Over the summer I was able to send in 70,000 McDonald's receipts. We were able to obtain the following items: 10 digital cameras (every grade level will have a camera now- Sidewalk chalk (for the kindergarten)-an 8 x 10 laminator and 5 refill cartridges-and a classroom set of colored pencils. We can accept receipts from Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha Counties.
