There is a new procedure regarding school absenteeism related to H1N1. Effective September 30, 2009 we are required to track and report to the Kenosha Health Department on a daily basis. From now on if you are calling your child in absent, please indicate whether it is because
a. your child has an influenza-like illness (ILI) defined as a fever (100˚F or greater) and a cough and/or sore throat or
b. your child has other reasons for being absent
